SVC Executive Team - Clayton Johnson
Professional Experience:
• Clayton is an internationally experienced senior executive having spent the last 15 years building and or improving company "platforms and operations" worldwide. Clayton started his career with Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group as a management consultant where he focused on process and technology for a variety of real estate companies including: REITS, asset managers, construction/engineers, developers, homebuilders, property managers and facility managers.
• He also served as the global solution lead and creator of a methodology for launching startup businesses while at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young through 2002 as part of their Strategy and Transformation Service line.
• Clayton was the Chief Information Officer for a global real estate property and asset manager in London called Mapeley (owned by Fortress and Soros Real Estate Equity Partners at the time) and was a member of the operational board
• Clayton was the acting Chief Information Officer for Grove International Partners in NY which is a $4.5 billion dollar private equity fund that invests in real estate related "platforms" globally while also doing restructuring at a variety of the owned platforms. Clayton has also spent time as the Chief Operating Officer of an asset manager that assisted in the workouts of distressed land assets.
• Clayton founded Tribe Consulting Group in 2006 that specialized in management consulting for the real estate and private equity industries. He spent most of the last 7 years designing and building out the global application strategy for Brookfield Asset Management in USA, Canada, Australia and Brazil. Clayton is currently also the interim Chief Information Officer of one of the largest retail REITS in the US in addition he is advising and helping build another retail REIT developer out of Boston.
